Five Haiku

Fifty-four degrees.

Cloudy skies with a slight breeze.

both dogs walk with me.

Two Cranes in the park.

One is dancing and jumping –

Still trying to woo?

The cranes start trilling –

then fly over to Chase Spring –

a.k.a Woodrow.

Never ending feast.

Three Sisters party goes on –

for three Sandhill Cranes.

A Great Blue Heron –

perched on retaining pond rock.

Flys to outlet wall.
