Three Haiku

 

Wood Ducks on Wingra -

Blue-winged Teals in Ho-Nee-Um.

Forty-six degrees.



Just off the boardwalk -

that hugs the Ho-Nee-Um Pond –

is Cutleaf Toothwort.



The Bloodroot unfolds -

from it's warm leafy cocoon –

to greet morning sun.
