Three Haiku
Twenty-five degrees.
Coot flock growing on Wingra.
So many of them.
Coots congregating –
on Lake Wingra's north shoreline.
Black dots bob up – down.
The gangs get along.
The Mergansers and the Coots –
have brokered a truce.
