While near Monroe Street –

loud truck straining with trailer.

Model name is stealth.

On Wingra's far shore –

I thought I heard a loon call.

No confirmation.

Hey! coots have long legs!

Usually under water.

Coots perched on dead tree.

It's thirty-three.

Warming sun drops sparkling gems –

on Wingra ripples.
