Prairie Phlox - Phlox pilosa  

Prairie Phlox is a native plant that grows in dry areas like dry like prairies and woods. Prairie Phlox grows 6" - 24" tall.

Individual pink to pale purple flowers are 5-parted and fused at the base into a thin tube (about 1/2" - 3/4" wide).

Blooms April - June.

Other names: Downy Phlox.
