Yellow Flag Iris - Iris pseudacorus
A native plant of Eurasia, it can be an invasive garden escapee in Wisconsin.
It is considered hazardous. When applied to the skin or inhaled, the tannin-rich juices can be acrid and irritating.
Other names include: yellow iris, water flag.
