Thimbleweed - Anemone virginiana
Thimbleweed is a native plant with flowers that are greenish to white, 5-parted and 3/4"-1" wide.
Thimbleweed's leaf structure is whorled halfway up the stem and each individual leaf appears to be deeply cut.
Each plant has 1-3 very long stalks with a solitary flower at the top.
This plant has medium severity poison characteristics and is hazardous if ingested or if skin comes in contact fresh sap.
