Spotted Joe-Pye Weed - Eutrochium maculatum
Spotted Joe-Pye Weed is a native plant . It grows from 2' to 7' in height.
The flower head is usually flat-topped (vs. the domed inflorescence of Joe-Pye Weed - Eutrochium purpureum) and has anywhere from 9-22 pink to purple disk flowers that create an inflorescence of about 7" wide.
Spotted Joe-Pye Weed blooms from June through August.

Stems spotted or evenly purplish vs. the central stem of Joe-Pye Weed (Eutrochium purpureum) that is light green. Leaves are sharply toothed and mostly in whorls of 4-5
