Showy Tick Trefoil - Desmodium canadense
Showy Tick Trefoil is a native plant that grows to about 2'-6' tall. It likes moist to wet thickets and streambanks, woods, prairies, and disturbed habitat.
Pink flowers are pea-shaped and about 1/2 inch long and densely packed. There is a small patch of dark pink at the center of the flower.
Other names: Canadian tick-trefoil.
