Mark Ruffalo - Actor; born Mark Alan Ruffalo on November 22, 1967 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Appearing in over 50 movies, Ruffalo is best known for portraying the Marvel Comics character Bruce Banner/Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (replacing Edward Norton).

Ruffalo was raised Catholic in his hometown of Kenosha, was baptized in the church and attended a Catholic elementary school in Kenosha. Ruffalo's father, Frank Lawrence Ruffalo, Jr., was a city high-school wrestling champion and Ruffalo was also a wrestler in junior high and high school in Wisconsin and Virginia, and was good enough to wrestle in college.

In 2014, Ruffalo portrayed the wrestler Dave Schultz in the movie Foxcatcher, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. In 2015, he again received an Academy Award nomination for his role in the drama Spotlight, a story that struck a nerve with Ruffalo because of his Catholic upbringing.
