Nodding Smartweed - Persicaria lapathifolia
Nodding Smartweed is a native plant that grows in wet to moist areas and disturbed sites like ditches.
Flowers are greenish white to pink and droop in long clusters.
Blooms July-Sept.
Other Names: Curly-top knotweed, Dock-leaved smartweed, Heart's-ease, Pale smartweed and Willow weed.
