Note: A Racoon crossed path by duck pond. At sunrise I could hear Scandhill Cranes trilling over by Vilas Park and over by Wingra Marsh. A mink? ran by on the ice in front of Wingra Boathouse. Redwing Blackbirds in cattails. Muskrats perched on the edge of rapidly receeding ice, hunched over and eatting. Two trilling Sandhill Cranes flew over above Stevens Pond.
