Lake Wingra on July 1, 2020.

 
Three Haiku

 

It's hot and humid.

The first day of this July.

There's a quiet haze.



Tall thimbleweed hides –

in plain sight in savanna –

by not showing off.



On the otherhand,

Crown vetch cannot be concealed –

with it's bright pink blooms.
