Four Haiku
It's fifty-nine.
Birds squawking more than singing.
Male redwings tussling.
I read to grandson.
Now, all rabbits are either –
Peter or Foo Foo.
Or Flopsy, Mopsy,
Cottontail or Benjamin.
Story not nature.
Busy little bee,
buzzing on the Spiderwort,
collecting pollen.
