Four Haiku

It's sixty-seven.

I ditch the light spring sweater.

Short sleeves and blue skies.

Last name is beardtongue.

An odd surname for Foxglove –

But it's oh so true.

Hi mother snapper!

I wondered when you would show –

and then, there you were!

Digging butt backwards –

making hole to bury eggs –

to hatch your babies.
