Lake Wingra on April 26, 2020.

 
Three Haiku

 

Forty-two degrees.

Two kayakers on Wingra.

Mostly just drifting.



Big and beautiful,

Sandhill Cranes are a presence.

And sometimes bullies.



Other birds defer –

even the Canada Goose.

And, I think, wisely.
