Three Haiku
Loon dives and stays down –
for over thirty seconds.
I was timing it.
Two Mallard Ducks perched –
on roof of Wingra Boathouse.
Not best place for brood.
Siberian Squill blooms –
in reflecting warmth of stone wall.
Buds still tight elsewhere.
