My last day's haiku.

Went from solstice to solstice.

Hoped for improvement.

It's Thirty degrees.

Forecast is warmer weather –

until Chirstmas Eve.

Backyard rooster crows.

Confirms the solstice sunrise –

obscured by dark cloud.

Wingra quiet, then –

rapid-fire chee, chee, chee, chee.

And now, it's the end.
