Great St. John's wort - Hypericum pyramidatum (Hypericum ascyron)
Great St. John's wort is a Wisconsin native and grows from 3-5' tall.
The golden yellow, 5-petals flowers are from 2 to 2 1/2 inches across. They have numerous long yellow stamens with orange tips and , in the center, is a light green, pyramid shaped pistil with 5 persistent styles with red tips.
Other names: Giant Saint John's wort.
