True Forget-me-not - Myosotis scorpioides
An introduced species in North America, the Forget-me-not is usually found in damp or wet habitats, such as bogs, ponds, streams, ditches, fen and rivers.
Although it favors wet ground, it can even survive submerged in water, and often can form floating rafts.
Forget-me-not flowers are pink in bud and become light blue when fully open. The small, five-petal, light blue blossoms are a little over a 1/4 inch wide with yellow
centers and white honey guides.
Other names include: Water forget-me-not, common forget-me-not, forget-me-not, water scorpion-grass.
