Wisconsin State bird is the Robin (Turdus migratorius).

The Robin (Turdus migratorius) - A welcome sign of the coming spring. The red-breasted robin was offically adopted as the Wisconsin state bird in 1949.

In 1926-27, Wisconsin school children voted to select a state bird. The robin received twice as many votes as those given any other bird. But, it wasn't until the Chapter 218, Laws of 1949 that the robin was officially made the state bird.
