Wild Senna - Senna hebecarpa
The Wild Senna is a species of legume that grows up to 3- 6 feet tall and blooms July - August.
This perennial native has yellow flowers that are 5-parted (petals are slightly unequal). The flowers are clustered to form a panicle at the end of the stems. They are less pea-like than other genera in the Fabaceae family.
Wild Senna is endangered in many parts of the United States.
