Large Beardtongue - Penstemon grandiflorus
Large Beardtongue is a native plant that likes full sun and grows in dry areas like prairies, and in sandy, gravelly soil. It can grow up to 3' tall.
The Flower colors range from light pink to lavender with purple lines on the inside of the lower lip. The flowers as 5-parted and tubular in shape (2 1/2" long"). The flowers whorled around the stem in the upper part of the plant.
