Biennial Gaura - Oenothera gaura/Gaura biennis
The Biennial Gaura is a native grows sunny, dry areas including prairies, woods and shores.
Biennial Gaura flowers are pink to red, 4-parted and 1/2"-1 1/4" wide. The four petals are all on one side of the flower.
Biennial Gaura can grow to reach 6 feet tall. Oenothera gaura is a biennial plant, meaning it completes its life cycle over the course of two growing seasons, in which it will usually reach full maturity towards the end of the second growing season.
